Summary
The Theology Teacher delivers instruction in religious studies, fostering students’ understanding of theological concepts, and encourages critical thinking within the context of faith and spirituality. - Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the assigned course curriculum.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages respectful dialogues and fosters spiritual development.
- Incorporate a variety of teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Assess and evaluate students’ understanding through classroom discussions, assignments, and tests.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students in matters of faith, morality, and ethical issues.
- Participate in school-wide events, including religious services, retreats, and other faith-based activities.

- Must be a practicing Catholic.
- Bachelor’s degree, relevant course work, and secondary teaching experience is required.
- Theology degree is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of religious teachings, scripture, and ethical principles.

- Proficient in email communication, word processing, and presentation software, including tools within Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
