Position Summary
Assist in development, scale-up and production of powders and other Security based products. Conduct operational assignments and procedures for powder and tag production. Work under general supervision and guidance. Some shift work required.
Key Areas of Responsibility
· Operating, maintaining, cleaning, and troubleshooting of proprietary production equipment.
· Recipe formulation, powder production and thermal post processing for a variety of powders.
· Wet chemistry based synthesis of unique taggant materials.
· Consistent quality for long run material campaigns.
· Flexibility to shift between high volume manufacturing mind-set and one-off research & development (R&D) sample generation.
· High operating efficiency while ensuring highest quality, safety, and security standards are observed.
· Assist in planning, synthesis, processing, and testing of products.

Education/Experience
· Assoc. degree in a technical discipline preferred; or High School graduate with 2-4 years’ work experience.
· Strong motivation to learn and expand expertise.
· Ability to obtain Secret level clearance preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.24 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
