Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at an award-winning level 1 trauma center in Kansas City, MO.
About the Role
- Provide diagnostic and specialized imaging services in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
- Support Radiologists and residents during advanced imaging studies.
- Serve as a resource in their specialized field to coworkers.
Responsibilities
- Utilize strong leadership and communication skills.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Maintain knowledge of human development processes and effectively work with patients of all ages.
- Lift up to 50 lbs to assist and move patients.
- Operate a computer and input/retrieve data.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
- Registered in good standing with the ARDMS or AART upon hire or within 12 months.
- RVT or VT certified upon hire or attain RVT certification within 12 months.
Preferred Qualifications
- Credentialed in Abdomen, Breast, OB/GYN, and Neuro.
