Job Description :

MedStar Health is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at our brand new outpatient center in Rockville, MD. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in MRI imaging and be skilled in performing high-quality diagnostic scans.

Job Highlights :

Shift Options : Early morning and mid-shift schedules available.

Schedule : 5x8’s

AI functioning equipment

Paid Time Off (PTO) : Begins accruing on day one , with increasing accrual rates based on tenure.

19 days PTO to start (5.846 hours per pay period).

Increases at 2nd, 6th, and 8th anniversaries .

Holidays : 7 recognized holidays, including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, and Christmas.

Coverage starts first of the month after 30 days of employment .

401K Match Program :

Eligible after 3 months of employment.

100% match on the first 3% contributed, 50% match on the next 2%. Key Responsibilities :

Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.

Adhere to all MRI safety protocols and best practices.

Evaluate images for quality and accuracy.

Work closely with radiologists and healthcare professionals for accurate diagnoses.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of MRI equipment.

Provide exceptional patient care and address any concerns during procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.

ARRT certification in MRI or equivalent credentials (MR ARDMS or ARRT - Magnetic Resonance ARRT).

State of Maryland licensure.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Strong knowledge of MRI safety and best practices.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
