Job Summary
The Social Worker (EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT) provides services to patients and their families to deal with needs incidental to their hospitalization. Provides counseling, support and assistance in making transition plans. Provides direction for routine aspects of non-medical problems of patients and their families. Assists with the planning and post-discharge of patients with outside agencies, nursing staff, and relatives.
Requirements :
Master’s Degree in social work : Required
Licenses / Certifications : Registered Baccalaureate Social Worker (RBSW) or Certified Social Worker Associate (CSWA) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licenses master social worker (LMSW) : Preferred
