SAP FI/CO Consultant

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant with expertise in the Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP's FI/CO functionalities, configuration, and implementation, with a strong ability to analyze and optimize financial processes. You will play a key role in delivering end-to-end SAP solutions to improve financial and controlling operations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Module Expertise: Provide expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience in the SAP FI and CO modules.
• Consulting: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements, translating them into SAP solutions for financial accounting and controlling processes.
• Implementation & Configuration: Lead the configuration of SAP FI and CO modules, ensuring solutions are tailored to meet the client’s needs while following best practices.
• Testing & Documentation: Conduct system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Create comprehensive documentation for system design, configuration, and testing results.
• Training & Support: Deliver training sessions to users and provide ongoing support during and after the go-live phase to ensure smooth adoption of SAP FI/CO solutions.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial accounting and controlling, and make recommendations for streamlining operations.
• Integration: Ensure seamless integration between SAP FI/CO and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, and PS) as well as third-party systems.
• Issue Resolution: Act as a subject matter expert in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the FI/CO modules, offering practical solutions in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP Consultant, with a focus on the FI and CO modules.
• Strong knowledge of SAP configuration, business processes, and integration points for the FI and CO modules.
• Proven experience with SAP FI/CO implementations, rollouts, and upgrades.
• Familiarity with additional SAP modules (such as MM, SD, or others) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on improving business processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• SAP certifications in FI and CO modules are a plus.

Desired Skills:

• Expertise in financial reporting, cost center accounting, internal orders, profitability analysis (CO-PA), and other key FI/CO submodules.
• Experience in global SAP rollouts and multi-country financial requirements.
• Knowledge of accounting and controlling best practices in different industries.
• Ability to lead or mentor less experienced team members.
