Location : Coastal Oaks Recovery, Port Royal, South Carolina

Recovery is a 72-bed substance-use treatment center serving adults aged eighteen and older. Nestled on five serene acres near the coastal waters and wetlands of Port Royal, Coastal Oaks provides a tranquil environment for individuals suffering from addiction to stabilize and embark on their journey toward recovery and wellness.
At Coastal Oaks Recovery, we prioritize providing a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility for both our patients and staff. Our Facility Maintenance Manager is a vital part of ensuring that our physical environment supports recovery and wellness.
Position Purpose
The Facility Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all facility systems and structures at Coastal Oaks Recovery. This includes ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing maintenance staff, and coordinating with contractors and vendors. The Facility Maintenance Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining an environment conducive to health, safety, and recovery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintenance Operations
- Supervise and perform routine maintenance and repairs for facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
- Ensure proper functioning of security systems, fire alarms, and emergency response equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs, ensuring a safe and functional environment.
- Oversee landscaping, janitorial services, and general upkeep of the facility and grounds.
- Oversee housekeeping department and staff. Responsible for scheduling appropriate number of staff per shift to maintain cleanliness, sanitation and upkeep 24 / 7 365 days a year.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA Standards, The Joint Commission Standards under Environment of Care Sections.
- Oversee ordering and inventory of outside linen service.
- Maintain all electrical equipment facility wide and documentation on required testing for all internal and external equipment
