THE POSITION
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will work to ensure invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation accuracy and timeliness. The ideal candidate will excel in customer service, have strong analytical skills, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and correctly posted.
- Record and apply payments accurately to customer accounts.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and account status promptly and professionally.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and escalate issues as necessary.
- Monitor incoming payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, correspondence, and adjustments.
- Generate monthly reports to track receivables, collections, and aging.
- Ensure all invoicing aligns with company policies and contractual agreements.
- Prepare and send accurate customer invoices on time.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
