THE OPPORTUNITY
Staccato is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support our growing team. You will be an integral part of our mission to build the Best Shooting Handgun in the United States. Our machine shop operators produce the slides, barrels, and small parts for our 2011 pistols. Staccato has built a world-class team that complements our best-in-class pistols. Our operation strategy has been heavily influenced by “People First” aspects; this allows us to celebrate an above-industry average retention rate.
JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES
- Verify the serial number, model, and caliber of each item.
- Close orders in the internal system and print labels for the job orders for each serialized item.
- Move completed items that are pending shipment prep to the vault.
- Verify and package all serialized items to ship to outside vendors.
- Maintain appropriate levels of stock on packaging materials.
- Unpack and verify the incoming items against the packing slip.
- Bag and tag items with proper labeling
- Process packing slips in the internal system.
- Pick and pull all serialized and non-serialized items off packing lists for shipping.
- Any other shipping and receiving duties delegated by your supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 years experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory in a warehouse preferred.
- May operate a forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
- Know proper shipping procedures for transporting dangerous and/or regulated goods.
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), bend/stoop, and squat/crouch to 50% of the time.
