We are looking for a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to be based at our Avondale, AZ reporting to the (job title). The salary is 60,000.00- 65,000.00.
Job Summary:
AMWARE is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to manage and oversee all shift warehouse activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity for the site.
- Help to determine space requirements and ensure that inventory is put away, relocated, and stored accurately.
- Manage the daily work schedules of fulfillment associates to ensure a smooth and productive operation.
- Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of equipment, as well as ensuring there is a safe, clean working environment.
- Plan and coordinate staffing to meet daily order fulfillment and shipping needs.
- Train on the safe operation of equipment and the maintenance of material handling equipment
- Motivate, evaluate, and coach warehouse staff. Manage Shipping/Receiving Clerk and Account Leads.
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Warehousing practices and procedures including receiving and shipping methods, supervision, and accountability
- Principles and practices of leadership and work management
- Warehouse-related SOP’s
- Individual Account work instructions
- Warehouse processes and procedures
- Make recommendations to the Operations Manager on programs to improve warehouse operations.
- Interviews and recommends associate applicants for hire.
- Manage the 5S of the facility.

Ability To:
- Multi-task in a fast-paced, demanding warehouse environment
- Train and develop hourly associates
- Learn AMWARE proprietary WMS
- Understand and ensure compliance with SOP’s, individual account work instructions and other warehouse processes and procedures
The ideal candidate will have:
Three to Five (3-5) years of related experience in Warehousing, Receiving, or Inventory Control, ideally within a multi-client warehousing environment; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
