Summary
The position will be responsible for initial contact with all company employees for technical hardware and software support issues.
Principal Accountabilities/Essential Functions
- Provide support utilizing the help desk ticketing system software
- Support our internal custom applications (WMS Systems, Client Portals, etc.)
- Work trouble tickets quickly and efficiently as assigned
- Provide general IT support to end users for printers, workstation, scanners, and other peripheral issues
- Create new end users through Windows AD and administer email accounts through Office 365
- Process new end user workstation set-up and migrate old workstations
- Install, repair, upgrade and maintain network, server hardware and software as needed
- Analyze and isolate issues quickly
- Respond promptly after identifying user needs
- Maintain ticket work logs, maintenance tasks, documentation on IT related infrastructures, servers, and peripherals
- Create documentation for various tasks for reference and training purposes.
- Stay updated on new technologies and be able to analyze and recommend new tools to improve internal processes and tasks.
- Other projects, as assigned.
Skilled In:
- Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office Applications
- LAN, WAN, VPN, RDP, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and TCP/IP connectivity
- Web servers, virtual servers, IIS and database servers
- Supporting network printers and VOIP phones
- Problem solving with software and various data
- Individual initiative to get the job done

- Worked in a Logistics/Warehouse environment strongly preferred
- Two or more years’ experience as a computer support specialist
- A certified, Comp TIA credentials and/or Network certified a plus
- Intermediate SQL Query experience is a plus
- Office / Warehouse Mix: This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role will require the ability to, on occasion, go in and out of trailers, navigate around roller racks, and other logistical equipment within a warehouse setting. The position will also require travel of both in air and driving.
- While performing duties of this job, the employee’s work environment may vary from professional office to fulfillment center floor, and other vendor/client locations.
