THE POSITION: At STACK, the Senior Vice President, Asset Management, will report directly to the President and will be responsible for overseeing the profitability and performance of our data center assets in the Americas. This position requires a dynamic leader who can integrate insights from and coordinate successfully with various departments to ensure optimal asset management and drive strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities: The Senior Vice President will
- Asset Performance Management – Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of the STACK’s Americas data center portfolio. This includes supporting asset-level projections, stabilized yield, and ROIC analysis while identifying opportunities for improvement and forming and implementing asset and portfolio strategies to enhance profitability.
- Operational Oversight – Ensure properties are maintained to the highest standards, optimizing their performance and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements, utility agreements, property owners associations, etc.
- Financial Management
- Support financial reporting and tracking for bank and lender compliance, loan draws, and asset-level financing initiatives
- Collaborate with Finance, Critical Operations, and Property Management on the annual budget process
- Lead monthly P&L variance analysis and any reforecasting efforts; the Asset Management function will be the ultimate owner of the “why” behind the financial performance at each asset
- Lease Administration. Manage all aspects of lease administration, including leading the deal structuring, approval process, and lease negotiations of renewals
- Team Collaboration – Establish a horizontal overlay across functional teams, including Development, Critical Operations, Sales, Legal, Finance, Accounting and Investor Relations. This role will quarterback asset-related initiatives, ensuring a holistic view of all workstreams impacting asset performance and maintaining clear communication between departments.
- Client Relations and Escalation Management – Serve as the primary point of contact for asset-related inquiries, maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The [Senior] Vice President will leverage technical, commercial, and interpersonal skills, and partner with Critical Operations, Client Success, and PM, to effectively interface with clients and address escalated issues
- Stakeholder Evaluation – Evaluate all stakeholder considerations with respect to the portfolio of data center assets, including capital markets, critical operations, finance, power, development, and public policy. This role will provide insights that align facility operational strategies with broader organizational goals.
THE DETAILS: Location: Denver, CO, San Francisco, CA, or Northern Virginia – In office 4 days per week
Compensation: $300K - $350K bonus

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or relevant field; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in asset management, operations, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience managing large-scale real estate portfolios, particularly in data centers or mission-critical environments
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to collect, analyze information, and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to build a team with a vision and then mentor and develop team members
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical judgment
