As a Senior Product Manager on the OverflowAPI team, you will drive the exploration, evaluation, and development of the roadmap for a product development team working on OverflowAPI. OverflowAPI is Stack Overflow's newest product line and focuses on enabling enterprises to leverage Stack Exchange community knowledge to achieve their goals. You will partner with senior Product Leadership, Researchers, Marketers, Designers, Engineers and Data Analysts / Scientists to evaluate, build, and scale high-impact products at Stack Overflow. You will also work with external partners to validate, define, and scope product integrations for Technologists. Your work will plot the course for Stack Overflow to become the most valuable destination for the world's current and next generation of technologists.
What you'll do :
- Be part of a small cross-functional team tasked to test and define the product strategy for a significant portion of the OverflowAPI product portfolio.
- Build a pod or initiative product roadmap, maintain a backlog of projects, and manage the priorities for your team's implementation, enhancement, and support of one or more OverflowAPI products, platforms, or integrations.
- Define and lead the road mapping for a product development team that unlocks our ability to deliver value for users and customers.
- Leverage data and research to focus our roadmap and strategy on the highest-leverage opportunities for impact.
- Innovate on our products through workshops, research, and experiments and communicate findings and recommendations to internal leadership teams.
- Participate in discussions and research with users, customers, and external partners regarding high-potential opportunities.
- Partner with internal teams to scope necessary and nice-to-have features and functionality for a potential new product and evaluate, buy, build, or partner opportunities with engineering teams.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, Research, Marketing, and Community teams, leveraging their knowledge and expertise and gaining alignment and support.
- Define and monitor metrics to determine the effectiveness of features and administer split tests to measure the overall impact.
- Interact with our community of developers and customers worldwide to gather ideas and feedback.
- Stay current with industry, product, and market trends to identify potential ideas and disruptors and share them with leadership based on opportunity and / or threat.
