What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales/Design Consultant - Allen position at Stacy Furniture & Design?
The ideal candidate will have the following duties but not limited to:
- Greet customers with a positive and upbeat attitude to provide a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist customers with questions on type and brand of home furnishings, creating custom pieces of furniture, and suggesting items to compliment selected pieces to build sales orders.
- Write work orders and complete all paperwork as needed for completion of sale to ensure correct items are ordered for each customer.
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout entire process from purchase to delivery by following up on all sales prior to and after delivery.
- Develop a personal relationship with customers to encourage future purchases with you and our stores.
- Communicate with our costing department, warehouse staff and all Stacy employees as well as our vendors professionally and with a sense of urgency.
Qualifications:
- Confident and outgoing personality.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Professional demeanor with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented.
- Proficiency working with computers and POS systems and databases.
- Desire to learn about furniture brands, trends, and products.
- Not a remote position. Must be able to work at our showrooms located in Grapevine or Allen, TX
Schedule - Full-Time Schedule including weekends and some major holidays.
Pay - $17/hr. while training plus written bonus opportunities. After training, written bonus continues plus you can choose from a full $1400 bi-weekly draw, $700 (half draw) or $0 zero draw against commissions. Commissions paid monthly.
