Stacy Witbeck is seeking a Marketing and Communications Partner who wants to work with a self-performing construction company that builds “cool stuff”. You will be responsible for the overall management and organization of the marketing plan. Creative communications and a firm grasp of all media, with a left brain/right brain connection is key. If you are capable of understanding engineering minds, and technical elements of construction projects we want to speak with you. You will work in support of all internal and external communications including public relations, branding and overseeing the creative development of promotional materials. You will lead efforts in the strategic planning of the department to support the operations and business development of a nationally recognized construction company.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop a high-performance marketing team capable of fluid communications and engagement both internally and externally through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring with proven experience and enthusiasm for large-scale infrastructure preferred.
- Stakeholder interface, utilizing market research to understand the audience and those impacted by publicly facing multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects.
- Audience will include operations, executives, agencies, owners, the public and craft labor. The right person for this role will have a diplomatic, polished and tactful public voice.
- Manage the marketing budget, looking for efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and administer a marketing plan and communications strategy in alignment with company philosophy.
- Support the company’s business strategies through targeted communication including in-depth understanding of projects and regions.
- Manage communication for key internal organizational changes by preparing and implementing communication strategies and materials.
- Work with Human Resources and the Executive team to create and maintain an internal communications program to facilitate information sharing within the company.
- Develop and execute all content for public relations and social media activities.
- Research current trends in marketing technology to develop and design best in class techniques for marketing materials.
- Research of target markets and clients to support regional strategic plans, while in collaboration with Business Development, the Proposals department, and Operations.
- Research and employ key metrics to regularly assess the effectiveness of communication.
- Direct and manage corporate related functions, e.g. photography, special events, award submissions, project updates, college recruiting, and brand awareness and adherence.
- Coordinate writing, editing, and production/publication of presentations and other marketing materials, or assist with such efforts.
- Supports the implementation of corporate identity initiatives.
- Oversee photography shoots in planning and coordination for business needs.
- Website management with an external firm.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4-year degree in marketing or a related field, and 8 years of marketing and corporate communications experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A/E/C experience preferred.
- This person should be comfortable interacting with operations, executives, agencies, owners, the public, and craft labor, while communicating in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Proven ability to successfully supervise multiple staff of different levels; possesses strong specialty skills and knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and the capacity to communicate visually.
- Ability to adapt to and learn new technical, imaging techniques under constantly changing competitive marketing demands.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional computer skills with current proficiency in desk-top publishing software, including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, as well as exposure to a variety of mass emailing software platforms, analytics reporting, and social media engagement tools.
- Collaborative and cloud-based functionalities for inter-departmental engagement are a MUST.
- Must be flexible, able to work under pressure continuously meeting project deadlines.
- Must be a highly motivated and creative individual while displaying initiative, independent thinking and teamwork.
- Must be willing to travel (up to 25%).
- Driver’s License and physical ability to walk uneven ground to envision project progress and gather visual media.
Preferences:
- STRONG preference for Heavy Civil contractor experience with mega project exposure.
- Portfolio submission requirement and writing samples preferred.
- Motivated and creative with an eye-for-design.
- Strong follow-through and able to see initiatives through conceptual stage to implementation.
- Must be flexible, able to work under pressure, and continuously meet project deadlines.
- Must be team-oriented and able to work collaboratively.
