Our ideal candidate will have a background in Heavy Civil Construction representing the General Contractor. Typical projects encompass large and mega transportation infrastructure projects from $250 million to $1 billion in project value.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
- Review and negotiate construction contracts.
- Provide practical and solutions-oriented advice.
- Exercise independent judgment and execute work product effectively.
- Communicate directly and professionally.
- Manage litigation and claims should the need arise.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
- 7-10 years of construction law experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite and PDF programs, with strong competency using tracked changes and redlines.
- Occasional travel may be required.
PREFERENCES:
- Experience representing heavy civil contractors.
- Public works experience.
- Alternative delivery experience including CM/GC, design-build, and progressive design-build.
- Responsive and adaptive work style.

Salary : $180 - $220
