As an ATP System Integration Manager, you are responsible for monitoring the delivery and implementation of the ATP carborne portion of the GLTPS system and ensuring that it’s in line with the customer’s expectation. This position is the onsite project lead for any/all activities related to the ATP carborne equipment and is the primary point of contact and support for installation, technical troubleshooting and resolution. Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake Vehicle Surveys on exiting fleets on customers premises such as Carhouses or Yards
  • Find solutions for both electrical and mechanical ATP Integration into existing vehicles (e.g. cable routing, enclosure design and installation, brackets etc.)
  • Oversee and manage the implementation of ATP carborne field modifications and other related activity
  • Manage relationships with customer stakeholders relative to any onsite ATP carborne activities
  • Maintain records and facilitate communication of identified open actions and issues as they relate to the ATP carborne system from the field between the customer and technical team in the US or Germany
  • Lead internal preparation efforts for formal weekly ATP carborne technical working sessions with customers and other stakeholders
  • Schedule and coordinate with internal and external resources to ensure timely execution of ATP carborne activities
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in design contract manufacturing, ideally with the delivery of vehicles and/or vehicle systems
  • Experience in electrical and mechanical system integration (e.g. ATP systems into new and/or existing vehicles)
  • Quick comprehension and strong interest in finding technical solutions
  • Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on quality and document control
  • Proficient in the evaluation of technical documentation and drawings
  • Confident appearance in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
