As a Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in managing our financial operations, overseeing accounting functions, owning the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Activities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
- Internal Controls: Maintain robust internal controls and ensure financial processes are in line with company policy and regulations.
- Cash Flow Management: Analyze revenue, and oversee cash and working capital to ensure optimal liquidity.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure timely tax filing including sales tax, payroll tax, and corporate tax returns.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for financial process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Auditing, Economics or related fields; Masters degree is preferred
- Experience in financial management or accounting role with at least 2 years experience in a controller position
- In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Strong understanding of accounting software and/or ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
