As a Mechanical Assembler (Pneumatics), you will be responsible for assembly of passenger rail vehicles, and their components including pneumatic systems, following detailed blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. You will ensure that all quality requirements and specifications are met in a timely manner.

As a Mechanical Assembler (Pneumatics), you will be responsible for assembly of passenger rail vehicles, and their components including pneumatic systems, following detailed blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. You will ensure that all quality requirements and specifications are met in a timely manner.
Key Activities
- Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures
- Perform inspections, based on drawing specifications and assembly instruction, to ensure the quality standards
- Assembly of equipment and products according to engineering specifications
- Maintain inventory of product in workstations, while maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Adhere to set deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED and vocational training in related field
- Minimum 2 years of mechanical and structural assembly experience required
- Ability to work in a team and good communication skills
- Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hand tools
- Quick comprehension, with a high standard of quality and attention to detail
- Goal-oriented, flexible, resilient, and responsible, with a structured work ethic
