The Production Planner is primarily responsible for updating the Master Schedule and weekly detail planning. This will determine the timelines, materialization, equipment, and labor requirements needed for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordination of Production work orders and Planning dates per the Production schedule
- Creation & managing Projects including assemblies, Planning demand and other ERP applications
- Management and updating of the production sequencing and work order scheduling
- Forecasting of materialization and monitoring the Missing Parts Lists
- Coordination of projects for continuous improvement of Production schedules
- On time management and updating of all various planning activities
- Communicate the impacts on the master schedule to internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- High school or GED equivalent
- 1-2 years of Production Planning experience
- Proficient with MRP / ERP Applications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word
- High standard of quality and safety
