Your tasks
As a Warranty Coordinator, you will be a viable member of a team focused on building high-quality, state-of-the-art passenger trains. You will be responsible to provide oversight to ensure all vehicles are tested, maintained, and compliant with national safety standards.
Key Activities
- Oversee daily testing activities according to customer specifications
- Work closely with other departments to monitor performance of vehicles, suggest improvements and changes
- Prioritize and develop a budget, and actively promote continuous improvement to increase cost quality control
- Work closely with contractors and testing technicians to measure performance
- Ensure compliance with equipment safety, occupational, health, and environmental requirements
- Develop new procedures including inventory control, equipment performance, and quality assurance
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, business, or similar field
- 3 years of proven experience in rolling stock warranty/maintenance
- Understanding of project management principles and practices
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety regulations and standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHA, etc.
- Strong working knowledge and efficiency with Microsoft Office
- Solid organization skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
