Variable (United States of America) Distribution Services Technician I The Distribution Services Technician receives and delivers a wide variety of supplies and equipment. Restocks PAR level carts and cleans equipment. Maintains responsibility for all received goods until they reach their destination. Assists customers as needed. - High School Diploma or GED equivalent (basic math and problem-solving skills) - Basic computer skills (MS Office, MMIS, and other related software applications) - Previous experience in supply chain, shipping/receiving (healthcare preferred) - Strong oral and written communication skills (proficiency in customer service) - Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders (customers, coworkers, etc.) - Ability to work in a busy and high-pressure environment (healthcare settings) - Ability to follow verbal and written instructions to accomplish repetitive tasks - Knowledge of general office equipment (fax machines, copy machines, and printers) - Valid Florida driver’s license and have a good driving recordDepending on a daily assignments Distribution Service Tech must be able to perform: - Perform office administration and clerical duties - Provide technical support for the department and customers - Retrieve and procced all equipment according to established hospital procedures - Restock and prepare proceeded carts for the further usage - Store incoming stock away according to its location and expiration - Restock main storeroom and bulk area as needed - Inventory PAR level rooms/carts according to specific schedule - Process (fill and delivery) supply requisitions sent directly to the department - Assist Receiving department as needed - Inspect all cartons for visual damage before approving receipt - Deliver supplies and obtain authorized signature when applicable - Maintain cleanliness of work area - Keep all the supply areas out of cardboards and other debris - Perform other related duties as assigned We're glad you're here.
