Variable (United States of America) Neurodiagnostic Technician Performs EEG's on newborn, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients in all area of hospials inculding Daytona Beach, Port Orange and Deltona. Supervise and train assigned personnel. Maintain equipment, patient records and supplies. - High School Diploma or equivalent required - Certification as an Electrocardiology Tech or Cardiovascular Tech preferred - 1 year certificate EEG course at Career College or equivalent work experience - Must be customer-service oriented and able to effectively communicate and build relationships with co-workers and key stakeholders at all levels in the organization. - Professionalism in interpersonal verbal and written communication skills with colleagues, physicians and ancillary department personnel is required - Performs EEG’s evoke potentials and somatosensories for diagnostic use by physicians. - Maintains equipment and supplies. - Maintain proper patient records on all procedures including charges and logs. Types and files reports. - Consults with and assists physicians in interpretation of tests. - Accept on-call responsibility Perform other related duties as assigned. We're glad you're here.
