Day (United States of America) Painter This individual paints, prepares and repairs walls on the hospitals interior and exterior building. - High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. - Minimum of two years experience in painting, varnishing and drywall techniques or sufficient experience to acquire a general knowledge of painter trade. - Years of experience determined by quality of assignments related to position responsibilities. - Skills in verbal and written communication required. - Ability to operate all painting equipment, including paint sprayer, airless paint gun and parking lot striping machine. - Performs wall preparation duties including: interior and exterior buildings, surface preparation, patching, speckling, chip metal, prime. - Cleans tools, brushes, rollers, etc. - Dry wall preparation - Performs painting duties including: spray paint machinery, refrigerators, etc., paints or wallpapering walls, stencils and paint signs, refinishes and paints furniture - Performs repairs on roof of hospital buildings and window and air caulking - Requisition supplies and materials - Performs other duties as assigned We're glad you're here.
