What are the responsibilities and job description for the ADMISSIONS COORDINATOR - MUSIC, THEATRE AND DANCE position at Staff and Faculty?
Job Summary:
Coordinate operational activities in support of Music, Theatre, and Dance admission under the direction of the Associate Director of MTD Admissions. Coordinate and participate in extensive recruitment efforts, manage the application, audition, and interview processes, coordinate the audition and interview sessions, and manage offers of admission in collaboration with the Ithaca College Office of Admission Provide exceptional service to prospective students and their supporters throughout the application process through information sessions, tours, and other events as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate a student-centered admission process within the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. Implement admission policies, procedures, and practices to attract a diverse and inclusive student body. Maintain awareness of national colleg, music, theatre and dance admission guidelines, ethics, and practices and assist in disseminating information to faculty.
- Coordinate marketing of admissions materials in web, print and digital formats to increase the visibility of School content. Work with students and staff to create and moderate content and develop promotional materials.
- Coordinate and represent the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance at recruitment sessions at the college, local, regional and national level including information sessions, individual meetings with prospective students and supporters, high schools, college fairs, conferences, and summer camps; develop and maintain relationships with partners regionally and nationally.
- Coordinate the online admissions application system and provide support to applicants and faculty.
- Manage the prescreen process to ensure all required application materials have been submitted. Ensure adherence to admission deadlines, communicate with faculty to determine pre-screening process results.
- Coordinate the details for the audition and interview process both on and off campus.
- Coordinate the admission yield program activities.
- Create annual reports of admission efforts to be used in future planning.
- Develop and demonstrate a multicultural awareness and contribute to cultivating an inclusive, diverse, and respectful College community. Demonstrate civil and inclusive behavior when interacting with staff, faculty, students, and visitors to the College. Promote a flexible, collaborative, and inclusive work and living environment and engage in educational opportunities to increase awareness and understanding of diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree; excellent organizational and project management skills and attention to detail; strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively work and interact respectfully within a diverse and inclusive environment; excellent organizational skills; solid working knowledge of various word processing, spreadsheet, and database software applications, solid data management skills, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information are required.
This position is 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Hiring Range:
$23 to $25 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
