- Following all safety policies, procedures, and practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Utilizing precision equipment to align sheaves and V-Belts.
- Inspecting and adjusting gaskets on pumps for proper functioning.
- Assembling, installing, and maintaining pipe systems, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Inspecting and repairing clinker cooler parts and Kiln parts to ensure optimal performance.
- Performing inspections and repairs on liners, center screens, main gearbox, and diaphragms in the Finish Mill.
- Conducting inspections and repair bearings, rotors, air conveyor systems, air slides, compressor couplings, screw conveyors, and conveyor parts.
- Replacing bags, cages, blower V-belts, filters, air cannons, and other components in dust collectors.
- Inspecting and aligning fan and rotor bearings for efficient operation.
- Inspecting and repairing tables, bearings, and tires in the Raw Mill.
- Performing inspections, repairs, and maintenance on pneumatic equipment and hydraulic systems using blueprints.
- Conducting precision alignment using dial indicators and lasers.
- Maintaining routine management and documentation tasks.
- Safely handling rigging of heavy loads.
- Operating cutting torches and welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- Actively participating in the 5S Housekeeping Program within the plant.
- Conducting root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues.
- Operating mobile equipment as required.
- Providing instruction, direction, and support to outside contractors during special projects or plant outages.
- Assisting with other departmental needs as required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
- Familiarity with precision equipment and tools used in maintenance activities.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, blueprints, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to operate cutting torches, welding equipment, and mobile equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document maintenance activities accurately.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingsness to work flexible hours and participate in plant outages or special projects.
