Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy and Leadership:
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's vision and goals.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to the CEO and the executive team for informed decision-making.
- Participate in strategic planning and help shape the company's long-term growth and profitability.
Multi-Site Accounting:
- Oversee accounting operations for multiple locations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Monitor financial performance across sites and implement measures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Policies and Procedures:
- Establish and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
ERP System Selection and Implementation:
- Lead the future ERP system selection and implementation project, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless integration.
- Identify opportunities to optimize business processes through ERP technology.
Cost Containment:
- Implement cost control measures and efficiency improvements to enhance profitability without compromising quality.
Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):
- Provide financial insights and due diligence support for potential M&A opportunities.
- Lead financial integration efforts during acquisitions.
Sales Tax - Multi-State:
- Ensure compliance with multi-state sales tax regulations and manage sales tax reporting.
Banking Relationship Liaison:
- Foster strong relationships with banking partners and financial institutions to support the company's financial needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar executive financial leadership role within the manufacturing industry.
- Extensive experience in multi-site accounting, financial analysis, and cost containment strategies.
- Successful track record of leading ERP system selection and implementation projects.
- Knowledge of M&A processes and due diligence.
- Familiarity with multi-state sales tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to execute the company's vision effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
- CPA designation preferred, but not required.
