Electrical Assembly Technician (1 st Shift)- 6 : 30am-3pm OT- 2 associates needed
- Skills in circuitry, soldering, wiring, troubleshooting down to the component level, schematic / blueprint reading, PCB boards.
- Experience using multi-meters, hand and power tools, oscilloscopes

Position Title : Electrical Assembly Technician
Position Overview
Responsible for assembly and functional validation of complex electrical assemblies.
Duties & Responsibilities
Test fitting and function testing of sub-assemblies for insertion into upper-level assemblies.Read / understand complex instructions.Interpretation of electrical drawings and diagrams.Understanding and checking BOM content for part numbering / descriptions for accuracy andcompleteness.
Route wiring through tight locations with detail to prevent wire pinching and stress throughmechanical function ranges.
Test equipment against specifications for assembly performance validation.Troubleshooting for correction / repair of assembled weld control systems.Interpret schematic, wiring diagrams and assembly drawings to troubleshoot issues in a logicalmanner.
Implement technical solutions using safe and standard industrial practices.Track and document labor time spent and report unit's failure issues with assembly and testingto determine root cause.
Set up effective test fixtures and tooling.Document repair activities through appropriate record keeping systems as directed.Identify and report trends and patterns with equipment assembly failures and problems.Conduct scheduled test equipment maintenance (e.g. cooling units, torch block, etc.)Complete assignments and tasks on time in accordance with production schedules andSupervisor direction.
Ensure that the service process is fulfilling Company's commitment to delivering the highest level ofproduct quality and customer satisfaction in the automated welding market.
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and order condition following Lean principlesincluding 6SWork overtime as needed to meet critical deadlines and / or provide customer
support in other time zones.
Perform other duties as required.Qualifications
Language Capabilities
Ability to read, write and speak fluently in English.Education Requirements
o AA degree in electrical technology or equivalent work experience in electrical and
mechanical assembly, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
Technical Requirements
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Ability to read schematic and technical drawings.SAP experience preferredExperience Requirements
Minimum 2 - 5 years' experience as an Electrical Technician.Excellent problem-solving skills.Experience with welding.Good Communication Skills.Experience operating hand and power tools, oscilloscope, Multi-meter, soldering and faulttesting equipment.Benefits :
