Electrical Journeyman Technician
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
- Need to be proficient in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical repairs.
- Understand and implement lockout/tagout procedures.
- Basic knowledge of welding and carpentry.
- Access multiple system applications simultaneously to effectively service customers.
- Use applicable resources/tools to problem-solve and make appropriate decisions to meet customer’s needs and resolve issues.
- Ability to perform effectively in complex and difficult environments.
- Demonstrates proficiency in problem identification and resolution.
PREFFERED SKILLS:
- Effective interpersonal, influencing and communication skills (verbal, presentation and listening) to interact with customers, vendors and colleagues and resolve issues with documents and processes.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Have patience for people and a high stress tolerance when needed.

- Strong technical acumen.
- A self-starter with a great attitude who enjoys solving problems and taking on challenges.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum high school, vocational, or equivalent education
- State Certification – Electrical Apprentice to Journeyman Electrician (MUST)
- Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
- Foreign language skills a plus (Spanish).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Demands:
- Frequently: Standing, Walking, Sitting, Handing, Finger movements, Reaching outward and above the shoulders.
- Occasionally: Sitting, Climbing, Crawling, Bending, Squat/Kneel, Lift/Carry up to 50lbs, Push/Pull 50lbs.
