Instrumentation and Controls Engineer
Summary: Join our team as an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, where you'll spearhead the development, implementation, and troubleshooting of control systems for water treatment equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize design documents to commission and troubleshoot control systems.
- Develop and/or redline P&IDs, electrical drawings, and control documents.
- Interface with customers regarding I&C designs and solutions.
- Assess client problems and determine appropriate solutions.
- Perform control system factory acceptance tests with clients.
- Collaborate cross-functionally between engineering and service teams.
- Setup and troubleshoot Ethernet-based networks for remote monitoring and support.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Degree in Engineering or 5 years' experience in designing and commissioning instrumentation and control equipment.
- Experience commissioning DCS, PLC, or SCADA Control Systems.
- Willingness to travel up to 75%, including international trips.
- Ability to work at remote construction sites and lift 30 lbs.
- 3 years of automation programming experience preferred.
- Familiarity with fieldbus networks and water treatment systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet customer site requirements.
