Position Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a well-established construction firm, managing all core accounting functions including general ledger, job costing, and construction draws using Sage 300.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and financial statements.
Manage construction draws and oversee job cost allocations using Sage 300.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts.
Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
Work closely with project managers to ensure budget accuracy.
Ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
5 years of accounting experience in the construction industry.
Advanced proficiency in Sage 300 (Timberline).
Strong understanding of construction job costing and project accounting.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related accounting software.
