We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Maintenance Technicians in Gainesville, FL.
Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Florida
Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain and repair equipment and systems using precision tools.
- Perform inspections and repairs on various plant components.
- Conduct routine maintenance and documentation tasks.
- Safely handle heavy loads and operate cutting torches and welding equipment.
- Participate in the 5S Housekeeping Program and conduct root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues.
- Operate mobile equipment as required and provide support to outside contractors during special projects or plant outages.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills are necessary.
- Familiarity with precision equipment and tools used in maintenance activities is required.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, blueprints, and troubleshooting techniques is desired.
- The ability to operate cutting torches, welding equipment, and mobile equipment is necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills are essential.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to document maintenance activities accurately are required.
