- Calibrate and maintain laboratory and analytical equipment to ensure consistent performance.
- Document test procedures, including stability program testing and formulation studies, and prepare reports detailing abnormalities and corrective actions.
- Recommend and implement corrective actions to meet quality specifications and update standard operating procedures as needed.
- Provide technical support to quality assurance and engineering teams by performing inspections throughout various stages of production.
Job Examples:
- Read and interpret complex blueprints and specifications, including vendor and customer requirements, using fractions, decimals, and trigonometry to determine dimensions.
- Utilize mechanical and electrical measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, snap gauges, and electronic instruments, ensuring accurate calibration.
- Perform critical first-piece inspections and authorize the initiation of production runs.
- Develop alternative methods to maintain uniform quality, including identifying and addressing process variables.

Qualifications and Skills
