We are seeking a dedicated Safety Professional to develop and enforce workplace safety policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a culture of safety. This role involves managing safety programs, training employees, and serving as a liaison for safety-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and report OSHA metrics, input monthly safety data, and manage safety documentation.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and support workers compensation claims.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and Life Safety 101 policies, safety signage, and document retention.
- Develop and conduct safety training, including PPE certification, new employee orientations, and ongoing awareness programs.
- Create SOPs for equipment safety (LOTO, confined space, electrical, lithium-ion batteries).
- Lead safety audits, inspections, and ensure new equipment meets compliance standards.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness, response drills, and manage the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
- Serve as the point of contact for regulatory agencies, hazardous materials compliance, and contractor safety.
- Support disaster recovery, business continuity, ergonomics programs, and first aid / CPR training.
