About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanic to join our team as a Diesel Mechanic. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy equipment and diesel engines.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting and servicing equipment
- Repairing and replacing parts as needed to maintain optimal performance
- Assisting higher-classified mechanics and working independently or directing others as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2-3 years of general shop experience and training or through our training program
- On-the-job experience with repair and maintenance of heavy equipment
- Able to use print manuals and have knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures
