In this role, the QA Technician enables conformance to Mars Quality and Food Safety specifications and compliance to all regulatory requirements through the verification and execution of quality control protocols and monitoring of sampling and testing plans applied to packaging and product.

The QA Technician contractor is a member of the Chalfont, PA site Q&FS team and is an on-site position. They will work closely with the production team to ensure that all products meet the required quality standards.
Requirements:
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or experience in a technical support area (2 years preferred)
- Associate degree preferred
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- General knowledge of ISO9000, Quality Management Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Food Safety, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Systems (HACCP), and Regulatory Guidelines
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have working knowledge of computer software, including word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, macros, etc., and be able to work with others in R&D, Manufacturing, and/or Distribution to improve product, processes, and systems.
Working Conditions:
The QA Technician contractor will be based at our Chalfont, PA facility and will be required to work in a clean and safe environment. They will be expected to maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.

We offer a competitive hourly rate between $20.00 - $22.50 per hour, depending on the shift worked. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by law.
