Position Overview
We are an award-winning State Farm agency, servicing Katy, and the Greater Houston area. We have been in Katy for the past 15 years! We are growing rapidly, and we are looking to add to our team. This is an in-office position.
If you have great customer service skills and love helping people in a unique office environment, I encourage you to apply. Insurance experience is a definite plus but not mandatory. Candidate must be willing to obtain a Property & Casualty License which the company will pay for.
We are searching for a quick-witted problem solver who wants to truly help our local families with their insurance needs. This is not just a job; it's a career opportunity. General duties include (but are not limited to) :
- Answering phones with a smile
- Taking thorough messages and either executing the task or delegating them to the proper team
- Making changes to existing policies using proprietary internet-based software
- Gathering accurate information so our sales team can quote
- Hold annual policy reviews with clients & explain coverages
- Find & cross-sell bundling opportunities with existing clients
- Process customer policy change requests / endorsements
- Handle all incoming claim calls from customers
- Discuss billing & take payments from customers
- Provide exceptional customer service
