Wisconsin Knife Works Job Openings January 17, 2025 In General Wisconsin Knife Works has one permanent job opening. The applicant will work on first shift. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour. First shift is from 7 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 00 p.m. Wisconsin Knife Works manufacturing departments are a relaxed pace low stress environment. All positions at WKW will receive annual general pay increases. Employees can also increase their pay $1.50 per hour by mastering defined skill levels and proceeding to the next level. Once a WKW employee, the employee will be eligible for our profit sharing plan which pays out twice per year (January and July). The employee must be a WKW employee at the start of the profit sharing period. Typical profit sharing checks range from $750 to $1500. Our process is we will review the backgrounds of candidates for all positions. We'll have interviews set up for the ones we feel meet the qualifications. After we select a candidate, they are pre-employment drug screened (9 Panel – No TCH). Machine Operator – Finger Joint Department The person may perform a variety of industrial operations such as running mills, drill presses and grinders and brazing carbide to tools. They will need the skills necessary to interpret shop blueprints, the ability to use various geometric measuring tools and perform general math. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is helpful but not necessary. Pay is increased as more machines and jobs are mastered.
