Sr. Estimator
Job Summary :
As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for custom manufacturing projects. You will analyze project requirements, labor, materials, and production costs while working closely with customers, engineering, and production teams. Your expertise in welding, fabrication, and machining will be essential in ensuring accurate estimates and efficient production planning.
Key Responsibilities :
Estimating & Cost Analysis :
Review customer blueprints, specifications, and RFQs to develop detailed cost estimates.
Assess material, labor, machining, and welding / fabrication costs, ensuring estimates align with company profitability goals.
Utilize Epicor ERP and Excel-based estimating tools to generate precise quotes.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to validate feasibility and manufacturability of projects.
Evaluate supplier quotes and negotiate pricing for outsourced materials and services.
Conduct risk analysis on estimates to account for potential cost fluctuations or production challenges.
