Staff Our Schools offers our teaching staff members the opportunity to take charge of two things that we rarely have control over in our industry, our work schedules and the time that we spend in the classroom! We are seeking Child Care Teachers who possess dedication to working with our earliest learners, and who also desire a better childcare classroom experience for themselves!
Our company offers our teachers an app controlled, flexible scheduling system which puts them not only in charge of their weekly availability for work, but also the days and hours that they work each week!
We are looking for experienced, dependable and flexible ECE teaching staff members who have access to reliable transportation and are able to commute to our area partner centers, ECFE'S, Preschools and Head Start Programs which are located in and around Milwaukee County and the greater Milwaukee, WI area.
WI DCF 251 Licensing & WI Registry requires that all teaching staff members have one or more of the following:
- Pediatric CPR/First Aid
- Wisconsin Preschool Certification
- A Wisconsin Infant/Toddler Credential
- BA, AA or Technical Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Post-secondary ECE credit coursework
- If you are an Assistant Teacher: * you must either currently have* or independently complete the DCF licensing required, non-credit course: Introduction to the Child Care Profession within 6 months after assuming the position or satisfactorily complete 2 credits in early childhood education or its equivalent. Staff Our Schools does not provide reimbursement for this State required coursework.
- Wisconsin Infant & Toddler Certification
- Wisconsin Registry Account
- CDA (Child Development Associate Certification)
- All teaching staff members will be required to have completed at least one of the following requirements: 1.)The DCF licensing required Infant/Toddler Requirement OR the equivalent coursework in the areas of 2.)Child/Adolescent Development 3.) Child Growth and Development or 4.) Infant and Toddler Development.
- The DCF licensing required Infant/Toddler Requirement coursework OR its equivalent Child/Adolescent Development (I/T), Child Growth and Development (I/T), Infant & Toddler Development (I/T), will be required for all/any staff members who work with children ages 2 and under.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Functions of this role include responsibilities such as:
- Assisting teaching staff members with the implementation of their created lesson plans and curriculum.
- Collaboration with center staff members to assure that classroom and center activities provide a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
- Utilizing consistent and positive communication skills for interactions with Staff Our Schools Management, center staff members, children & their families .
-Having the ability to perform all typical ECE classroom duties such as, but not limited to: sitting with children on their level(low chairs or the floor), going outside during all seasons, assisting with diapering/toileting & participation in classroom activities such as sensory play, art activities, reading books, singing songs etc..
