What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at Staff Pro?
NEW POSITION! QUALITY INSPECTOR NEEDED FOR GREENEVILLE AREA!
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience is required
- 1-2 years of experience in Quality Control in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to read and understand blue print specifications, customer, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Experience using measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gages, tape measure, and scales
- Ability to perform first article, work in-progress, as well as final inspection with precise measurements to assure compliance with customer specifications
- Ability to accurately and neatly complete required paperwork
- Ability to evaluate incoming material according to specifications
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using units of dimension and weight measurements
- Must have good organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of basic computer skills
- Knowledge of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) is a plus Pay rate $15 - $17 depending on experience.
