Winder Operator
Under the supervision of the shift supervisor, the winder operator is responsible for the winder area, including monitoring the web, documentation of paperwork and assignment of rolls, ovens, nip rolls, process changes, and cleaning of the winder area.
Some level of mechanical ability is required.
- Directly responsible for quality and efficiency of the lines and products.
- Able to read a tape measure.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- High degree of responsibility with safety awareness is required.
- Must be dependability.
- Mechanical ability is required.
- Capable of working under general supervision and acting on his own initiative when necessary.
- General problem solving is required
- Requires basic math skills.
