What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mammography Technologist position at Staff Relief, Inc.?
Staff Relief is currently looking to fill travel / contract mammography roles throughout Atlanta. Most roles require a minimum of 1 year of experience and ARRT or ARDMS certification is preferred. Contract opportunities are starting in January, Apply now to be considered.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and registered with the ARRT.
They must have a minimum of one (1) year experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.
Additional notes :
Shift : Mon-Fri 730a-4 : 00p
40 hrs a week guaranteed
Scrubs Caribbean Blue or Pink
13 week contract
Job Summary :
Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs.
Must be dependable, accountable and cooperative.
Assists with providing safe, age appropriate care to the patient by performing all exams provided by the department according to department procedures.
Has the knowledge and ability to properly and safely obtain a quality diagnostic study.
Responsible for performing a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of the equipment for the diagnosis and / or treatment of diseases.
Able to independently perform job functions.
Sets up the equipment to provide imaging service and positions patient for the procedure.
Must maintain minimum FDA / MQSA requirements for continuing education, experience and equipment.
