We are currently interviewing for the Maintenance Mechanic position and are looking to hire a qualified candidate to join our team.
1st shift - 5:00 am - 1:30 pm, OT as needed

**Job Summary:**
The Maintenance Mechanic will perform a variety of duties involving the installation, maintenance (including preventive), servicing, and repair of complex parts of machine tools, plant equipment, facilities, and buildings. The assignments are of average complexity and will be performed with little to no supervision. The candidate must have the ability to complete job duties at an acceptable level and is responsible for problem identification and troubleshooting. This position requires effective participation in a team environment.
**Required Skills and Abilities:**
- Ability to work in a noisy, dusty industrial/manufacturing environment and be exposed to non-toxic fumes, chemicals, grease, and oils.
- Ability to work with machinery and moving parts.
- Ability to operate cranes, trucks, and motor vehicles.
- Ability to work with moving vehicles, ladders, and scaffolding.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Ability to properly lift, carry, push, pull, manipulate, and transport up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, frequently lift up to 40 lbs, and consistently lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and pressure involving fingers, hands, and wrists.
- Capability to endure physical exertion, including long periods of standing or walking on hard concrete surfaces.
- Exposure to recurring bending, crouching, stooping, kneeling, sitting, climbing, stretching, or similar activities.
- Ability to reach high levels.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and communicating in English.
- Must have the physical strength and ability to frequently work more than 40 hours weekly.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Proficiency in trades math and the ability to interpret complicated drawings, specifications, precision measuring instruments, charts, etc.
- Requires considerable judgment to perform difficult maintenance work, diagnose equipment problems, and make repairs, modifications, and adjustments.
