Position Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Finance to lead and oversee the financial operations of our organization. The Director of Finance will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, ensuring financial stability, managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management. This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of financial analysis, and the ability to drive the companys financial performance in alignment with its goals. Key Responsibilities : Financial Strategy and Planning : Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including long-term financial planning, annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial objectives. Provide leadership in the development and implementation of financial strategies to support business growth, operational efficiency, and profitability. Partner with senior management to align financial goals with the company's vision and objectives. Financial Reporting and Analysis : Oversee the preparation of accurate, timely, and comprehensive financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Lead the financial analysis of business performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential risks, and presenting actionable insights to executive leadership. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards (GAAP / IFRS), and internal policies. Budgeting and Forecasting : Manage the development and monitoring of the annual budget, ensuring proper resource allocation and financial efficiency. Conduct monthly and quarterly forecasting to predict future financial outcomes and adjust strategies accordingly. Collaborate with department heads to track budget performance and make recommendations for cost-saving measures and resource optimization. Cash Flow and Financial Management : Monitor and manage the companys cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure operational sustainability. Oversee treasury operations, including investments, debt management, and financial risk management strategies. Maintain relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions as needed. Team Leadership and Development : Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture that emphasizes accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement. Develop and implement training programs to enhance the teams technical skills and professional development. Drive collaboration across departments to ensure financial goals are met and internal controls are adhered to. Strategic Decision Support : Provide financial insights and guidance to senior management on business decisions, mergers / acquisitions, investments, and capital expenditures. Evaluate and recommend business opportunities, product pricing, and investment strategies based on financial modeling and analysis. Compliance and Risk Management : Ensure compliance with all tax, legal, and regulatory requirements, including managing audits and liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies. Develop and implement financial controls and risk management practices to safeguard the companys assets and minimize financial exposure. Qualifications : Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Masters degree or CPA preferred). 8 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management capacity. Proven experience in financial management, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, and best practices. Expertise in financial analysis, strategic planning, and performance metrics. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, accounting software, and Microsoft Excel. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Additional Skills : Experience with ERP systems and financial management software. Strategic thinker with a focus on long-term financial growth. High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
