7047 - SharePoint Migration Specialist (Must currently reside in the Sacramento, CA area)

A highly skilled and experienced SharePoint Migration Specialist is needed to lead the transition from an on-premises SharePoint environment to SharePoint Online. This critical role involves planning, executing, and validating the migration of team sites, publishing sites, and custom applications. The ideal candidate must have deep technical expertise in SharePoint, a strong understanding of migration best practices, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess the existing on-premises SharePoint environment, including team sites, publishing sites, custom applications, and data.
• Develop a detailed migration plan, outlining timelines, resources, risks, and mitigation strategies.

• Perform the migration of SharePoint content, including lists, libraries, pages, and workflows, to SharePoint Online.
• Ensure compatibility and configuration of custom applications within SharePoint Online.
• Utilize migration tools to maintain data integrity and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues or errors.

• Conduct rigorous testing to ensure functionality, performance, and data accuracy.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience migrating custom applications within SharePoint.
• Familiarity with Azure Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory).
