Job Description
Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Diagnostic Radiological Med Physicist to work at a Facility in Fort Belvoir, VA. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate : $135 / hour
1099
The requirements are :
At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Diagnostic Radiological Med Physicist
A valid and current license issued within the US
A valid and current CPR card
Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.
Job Responsibilities :
Maintaining Equipment : Ensuring that X-ray, CT scans, MRI, and other imaging devices are working properly and safely.
Quality Assurance : Regularly testing and calibrating equipment to ensure it provides clear and accurate images.
Safety Monitoring : Ensuring that radiation exposure to patients and staff is minimized and within safe limits.
Compliance : Ensuring imaging procedures comply with safety regulations and standards set by health authorities.
Consulting : Providing advice to healthcare providers on imaging techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures.
Training : Educating staff on the safe operation of radiological equipment and radiation protection.
