Travel nurse

Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at a facility in Hilo, Hawaii.

About the Role:

• 40-hour travel package available
• Weekly gross pay: $600
• Local hourly rate (taxable): $15
• Weekly travel stipend (non-taxable): $1,533 ($1,057 for hotel and $476 for meals)
• Total weekly compensation (non-taxable): $2,133

Shift Availability:

• Days: 05:00-13:30 (with flexibility to start at 07:00 on occasion)
• Weekends required

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide professional nursing care and treatment to patients in accordance with medical protocols and written policies
2. Carry out orders, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
3. Respond to medical emergencies
4. Address patient inquiries, schedule medical appointments, dispense medications and supplies, and perform additional nursing duties as needed

Requirements:

• Proficiency in English for effective communication with staff and patients
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written English
• First-time Registered Nurses must have 6 months of recent experience in a hospital or acute care setting within the last 3 years
• Registered Nurses without prior experience may be eligible for a travel rate if their permanent residence is 50 miles away
