Direct Support Professional - IDD - Pennsylvania - ICF

Health Advocates Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work at a Facility in Hookstown, PA. This is a registry position with our company.

Pay Rate: $23 / hour

Shift Details:

• Class: DSP - IDD - PA - ICF Shift: 3 Start: 14:30:00 End: 23:00:00

Duties:

• Assist clients with daily tasks like eating, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Provide transportation to appointments or activities.
• Support clients in developing social and life skills.
• Administer medication as prescribed and ensure health and safety.
• Help clients with personal goals and daily routines.
• Record and report on the individual's progress and well-being.
• Promote a positive, respectful environment and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Direct Support Professional
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
• Must have up to date certification in the state of PA
