Quality Improvement Coordinator- Advanced
Pay Rate: $33 / hour
Minimum Qualifications
Current/valid Pennsylvania Nursing License or equivalent alternative
Pennsylvania professional licensure to be determined by the Commonwealth Agency. Minimum three (3) years professional clinical experience. Minimum (2) years quality improvement experience in multifaceted formal quality management program.
Computer expertise including a working knowledge of word processing functions, and data base utilization, maintenance and management.
Role Description:
Participates in analysis of Quality Management Program reports, with recommendations for corrective actions. Performs Quality Management reviews, coordinates, and manages other staff in doing audits.
Provides leadership and in-service training for medical and non-medical staff relating to Quality Management, audit methodologies and related plans of correction. Liaison and coordinator with physicians and nurses to implement/support Quality Management Program.
Maintain and upgrade skills by attending meetings, training sessions, and seminars and by reviewing current literature.
Participates in committee assignments as necessary.
